Using music from our best-selling app Pranayama, we've created structured courses for you specifically designed to manage headaches.

The cause of migraines is essentially unknown. There are several things you can do to mitigate the symptoms, however. Although everyone reacts differently, deep breathing can be a very effective way of calming the mind and reducing pain. According to WebMD, "In order to learn how to relax and cope with migraines and headaches, you need to become familiar with your own breathing patterns and change them in ways that will help you relax."

Pranayama is a breathing exercise used in yoga that promotes slow, deep breathing. Long, slow exhalation will help you relax and reduce the symptoms of headaches. We've put together a Pranayama course in the form of an album that will help you relax when you're in pain. The goal of these albums is to train people to prolong and regulate their breathing. Ultimately, breathing slowly can induce a state of relaxation, focus, and calmness. Remember, it is best to practice Pranayama first when you are not in pain, rather than only doing it when your symptoms arise.
